Ciaran Bernard

In 2003, Ciaran set off around the world working piano bars as an entertainer, playing and singing for 3 months in Bangkok firstly, then onto Sydney Australia for a year (Casino cocktail bars mainly), then onto the New York’s piano bar scene where he picked up his most benifital experience, which landed him indirectly with a resident position at a piano bar in Newcastle England, belonging to none other than Jools Holland.

He even dueted a few times with the man himself both playing and singing.
He then went into the Cruise ship industry working on cruise liners throughout the bay of Biscay and off the South of France. He then returned to Ireland in 2008 to work on writing his own music, recording one song recently with Paul Byrne previously of “In Tua Nua” on drums, Conor Brady who has toured with “The Corrs” and “The Commitments” on bass, and produced by Derek Cronnin one of Irelands top keyboard players and producers. Ciaran’s repertoire covers all styles of music from Swing, jazz, to hits from the 50′s and 60′s right through to the present day.
